If you’re looking to get mom something for self protection, we definitely have the goods! The most basic and easiest to use item to get mom is pepper spray. Our choice for mom is the Sabre Pink Lipstick Self Defense Spray. Easy to conceal and hide, this is the perfect choice to have on you if someone is getting a little too close for comfort. A flashlight can also come in handy if your mom is out at night. The Pink Maglite Solitaire Flashlight is small enough to fit in a purse.
A knife can also make a great gift, especially for the Do-It-Yourself type moms. Two of our picks are the Kershaw Pink Chive and the Buck Bantam BLW Lavender Camo Head Hunterz Knife. Both are super easy to use and can be useful for everyday tasks. If your mom isn’t a pink or purple fan, we have plently of folding knives in more basic colors available in store or online.
Finding gifts for moms in the public service profession (firefighter, police officer, EMT) is not a problem here at Harry’s. If she needs new boots we’ve got plenty to choose from. you may also want to check out our public safety gear selection to see if anything there fits her needs.

Camping is a great activity that you can start in the spring and continue doing until the fall hits (as long as you dress warm and bring enough blankets). It’s also a great activity for families from an economical standpoint as it’s very reasonable and also loads of fun. From a timing standpoint, you can camp for a weekend easily or for longer if you have more time off!
